10 Sweaters to Wear on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a great time to give thanks, celebrate with family, and of course get dressed up… and 2020 needs a whole lot of that.

I always love to buy new sweaters to wear during the holidays, so I’ve rounded up 10 of my favorites below. I wish I could include my sweater pictured above, but I bought it a few years ago from Anthropologie and they don’t sell it anymore. A few dupes can be found here, here, and here.

Sweaters to Wear on Thanksgiving

1. LOUNGE Fleece Sweatshirt: If your Thanksgiving is on the casual side, this fleece sweatshirt is perfect. It comes in a bunch of colors, but I like the “sand” best.

2. Leith Turtleneck: Turtlenecks are such a fall staple that never seem to go out of style. This one by Leith is slouchy but has tighter cuffs.

3. Splendid Cardigan: This lightweight ribbed cardigan is great for warmer temperatures. I love the asymmetrical front.

4. Free People Sweetheart Mock Neck Sweater: Every year I bookmark a few Free People sweaters that I really want. This chunky pullover has unique ribbing, and the “garnet grotto” color is perfection.

5. BP Deep V-neck Fuzzy Sweater: This fuzzy v-neck sweater would look amazing paired with jeans for a relaxed get together or a skirt and tights for a dressier affair.

6. Chelsea28 Funnel Neck Pullover: Funnel neck sweaters are ideal when it’s not cold enough to wear a full turtleneck.

7. Treasure & Bond Cable Knit Cardigan: The “brown toffee” color is perfect for fall and Thanksgiving. This sweater is low-stock, so if you’re interested get one while you still can.

8. Target A New Day Turtleneck: You can’t go wrong with Target sweaters. I love the side slit and how oversized this sweater is.

9. Target A New Day Cardigan: I continue to buy these Target cardigans because they hold up great after washing over and over again. They are lightweight and can be worn a million different ways.

10. Gap Cropped V Neck Cardigan: This one is certainly on the more sexy side, but it can be paired with a lace camisole underneath. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the buttons have the most gorgeous tortoise detailing. I’m a big fan.
